After earning a bachelor’s degree in business, Diane Kanady started her accomplished career as a corporate account executive. Throughout her career, Diane Kanady oversaw an international telecommunications and technology sales team and earned several accolades, including the Woman Executive Award. She prioritized diversity and actively recruited women and minorities into engineering positions.

Following 15 years in executive sales, Diane Kanady returned to school to obtain a degree in clinical mental health counseling. She works directly with medical care providers and specializes in counseling critically and terminally ill patients and their families. She also heads a hospital’s patient and family advisory council, which leverages patient feedback to improve the overall patient experience.

Diane Kanady has also spent nearly two decades as a support provider and grief counselor at a local hospice. She is a longtime member of the Hospice Federation of America and the Massachusetts Counselors Association. In her personal life, she enjoys golfing, playing ultimate Frisbee, and riding motorcycles.
